About the Event

Our second event in the Goyles Gorls series is heavily and unapologetically inspired by Are You Afraid Of The Dark? We’ll provide spooky coloring books; you’ll provide the scary stories; and at the end of the night, we’ll vote on who will take home the Mary Shelley Trophy.
PLEASE NOTE: ABSOLUTELY NO SCARY STORIES INVOLVING SEXUAL VIOLENCE WILL BE ALLOWED. Each storyteller will be asked to provide content warnings before their turn.
Goyles Gorls is an event series for the spooky at heart—no girlhood required. This one’s for the girls, gays, theys, and their eerie little allies. We don’t care if you show up in sweatpants, neon, pastel, or plague doctor chic. There is no wrong way to be spooky here. (Except being a jerk. If you’re horrible and/or don’t respect human rights, you are not Goyles Gorls material.)
